My favorite part as a child and still today is the part towards the end with the sparkles. The roots of my love of laser-like elements run deep.

For those of you who love mad libs and for those of you who love William Carlos Williams, I give you the WCWGenerator.

For those who haven't been to Beulahland yet, or who need a refresher.

Story Night 06/30/2011

On July 12th, in honor of Jennifer Fais's birthday, we're going to have a Story Night where folks are invited to tell a story on the theme of "Birthdays."

I wanted to include an example from another famous Story Night, called "The Moth." It's a story about one woman's adoration of Whoopi Goldberg.
Here is a great set of guidelines for storytelling on The Moth's website.

I'm also going to try to pull some stories from my friend's Story Story Night, which is held in Boise, ID.

So bring your stories: make us laugh, make us cry, make us sit on the edges of our seats!

Yes. One thousand times yes.

A couple days ago, we received our first yarnbombing pieces from Nicole Crider, who lives in Minnesota, and Amy Tidmarsh (and her bestie, Bella), who live in Manchester, UK.

During the 60 Hours, under the expert guidance of Adriana Kramer, these pieces will be fit together to adorn a dead, old, partially hollow maple trunk on the Beulahland property.

P.S. Amy also sent this cross-stitched piece that is fit to be framed for the 60 Hours gallery! We love it!

We bought a box of 12. We tested 1. You do the math.

Bring your chillun's - whether they be externally formed or internally bouncing around in your soul.

This will be one of the projects open to collaboration during the 60 Hours. Check it out!

I will be honest: Nos. 1, 5, 14-16, 22, 25 & 27 rang some bells for me. (I got #8 covered!)
What about you?

I LOVE this man. With every passing minute of this video, I loved and loved this man more and more. Can you see why?
(So, this means, if, for some reason, we can't manage to get 10 more people to sign up to participate, I will invent them & their work, myself!)
